Hi, it's been 6 months since an MRI showed a 1.5 x 1.6mm tear in my Supraprinatus. Surgeon said arthroscopic repair but unfortunately my insurance won't cover it and I've to wait on the public system here or pay $25k. The public system wait may be 12-24 months.
My question is what can I do to strengthen my shoulder? I have full ROM and about 50% strength. My concern is making the tear worse.
I work in construction so need to keep it as strong as I can.
Has anyone else had a tear and just had to get on with it?
